Our Team

Kim de Jong

Kim is the co-founder of de Jong Capital Partners. She is a real estate professional and entrepreneur. She has property managed their single family and short-term rental houses for 15+ years. Prior to starting de Jong Capital Partners, Kim’s career was in the Oil & Gas industry serving in Marketing, Finance and Project Management roles across Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia. When Kim is not working, she stays busy as a mom to their 3 young children, CrossFit, traveling while listening to her newest audiobook, and staying involved in church activities.

Kaes de Jong

Kaes is the co-founder of de Jong Capital Partners. He is an entrepreneur, owns an industrial mobile maintenance company and has extensive house remodeling experience. Prior to starting de Jong Capital Partners, Kaes worked in various Oil & Gas service companies including stops in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and Canada. Over the past 15+ years, he has bought & renovated numerous single-family homes, a short-term rental at the beach that he & Kim both still own, and in 2021, invested in his first apartment complex in North Houston.

Jennifer Barner

Jennifer Barner is the founder of Lighthouse Ventures, a private equity real estate investment firm. She is the General Partner/Sponsor on 405 units across 4 states and Limited Partner in 403 doors. She has successfully rehabbed 43 properties and has a portfolio of 20 SF properties in the Kansas City area. Her goal is to add 5000 doors to their portfolio over the next 5 years.
